Economic Development

Planning and Development, Keith Johnson, Director, 847-6532.

The City of Miamisburg is a full-service community of nearly 20,000 citizens with outstanding opportunities for business. From the historic downtown area to the Byers Road/Lyons Road corridor of light industrial and office space to the high-tech facilities available through the Mound Advanced Technology Center, Miamisburg offers a setting for nearly any prospective business. Additional economic development opportunities will occur in the future as a result of the new Austin Center I-75 intechange project.  City Council has demonstrated a progressive vision for the continued growth of Miamisburg and promotes a business-friendly approach to economic development. Meanwhile, residents enjoy an outstanding quality of life with expanding parks and recreation opportunities, an award-winning public school system and small-town values and traditions. Ohio Magazine recognized the many great things happening in Miamisburg when it named the City as one of the five Best Hometowns in the state in its November 2007 issue.
